Retirement Open House Scheduled for Hightower

A retirement open house will be held on Thursday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to honor Joedy Hightower for her 15 years of service to Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation. The open house will be held at the Community Foundation’s office at 2701 S. Banker Street, Suite 102A, Effingham.

Hightower joined the Community Foundation in 2004 as the Executive Director of both Mattoon Area Community Foundation and Effingham County Community Foundation. The two community foundations merged in 2009 and Hightower was appointed President/CEO of Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation. Hightower will retire at the end of 2018.
